In St. Petersburg, the last four people who died in the subway terrorist attack were identified. To establish their identity, specialists had to conduct genetic tests. According to the recent data, there are still 55 injured people, who were in the attack, in the city's hospitals. At the Ambulance Institute, Evelina went through a dozen complicated surgeries. At the time of the explosion, the girl was sitting opposite of the terrorist. She lost her nose and cheek tissue. Her face changed beyond recognition. And what the doctors did seems impossible.

Now, the outlook is optimistic. The doctors say that it's just a miracle that she stayed alive. Because she was very seriously injured. Evelina's mother and friends are trying to find that stranger who carried the girl out of the subway. He only said that his name was Gennady. And now he is telling how it was. I saw a girl standing, whose whole face was in blood, and badly injured. She asked me to call her father. And when we came out, everyone was calling an ambulance. The ambulances were already coming. I waved to the doctors. They came out of the ambulance and doctors took us.

While Evelina's mother was looking for the stranger to say thank you, the Primorsky district's communal service workers ran their legs off, while looking for Nurudin Meliboyev's relatives. Little was known about the unconscious guy who was taken to the Military Medical Academy's ICU It was only known that he was renting a room somewhere on Shuvalovsky Prospekt. Those who still remain in hospitals, now remember not only the moment of the explosion, but also how complete strangers rushed to the rescue. A young lady stayed with me for a very long time. She even helped to find my backpack with documents when I was already in the ambulance. People become proactive in these situations.





Today, people are lining up to donate blood. Together, in a single impulse, when much support is needed. And those who are now called volunteers are, in fact, ordinary citizens, who simply organized themselves. In these situations, money doesn’t matter. I will say it again, first of all, its grief... This is the grief that came to our city. And how else can we help? There is no other way. In these special days for St. Petersburg, when it was so important and necessary to have each other's backs, people didn’t have to ask for help. Those who did their job did it professionally. There was nothing to think about and there was no time. We received an order to evacuate the victims.

Everyone stuck together. And we did, too. We worked without thinking about anything. It is clear that in conditions of dense urban development, flying is a big risk. The helicopter rotor is more than 10 meters wide. It was necessary to land in a very limited space. Only high-class professionals can do this. The pilots of the air ambulance service are considered as such. This equipment allows us to save the patient's life during evacuation.

Unfortunately, their help was not needed for 14 passengers of the subway. They died. 25-year-old Spetsnaz soldier Denis Petrov recently worked as a close combat trainer. He was the champion of Russia. One of his latest posts on social networks was: "Do not tell people about your plans. Surprise them with your results". He was very kind, very sympathetic.

A very vulnerable soul was behind his brutal, and serious look. Maxim Arishev, a student of the Financial and Economic Institute, was at the very center of the explosion. He had lived in St. Petersburg for three years. He came from Kazakhstan. His girlfriend and almost all his friends are from there. Parents will bury Maxim in his motherland. And today, Maxim’s friends came to say goodbye here, to the Sennaya Ploshchad metro station. Maxim was a member of my family in St. Petersburg. And it was simply impossible for me not say goodbye to him. I have to do it, I ought to do it.
