Meanwhile, not only the locals return to Aleppo, which was liberated from terrorists. People who are fleeing from the settlements, which are still under the militants' control, also come here. It takes them several days to get here, and upon arrival they tell horrible stories about how extremists mock old men and women and kill those who disobey their orders. The territory of an unbuilt market located about 15 kilometers away from Aleppo is becoming filled with residents. About 300 people were able reach it today. They traveled for several days without food and water. The Russian Centre for Reconciliation sent food to the refugee camp as soon as it received the information about the arrival of families, which escaped from the territory controlled by ISIS.

"It is hard for these people, they are very poor. They have nothing to eat. We even bring our food and give it to them". In the line for hot meals we meet fourteen-year-old Nadir. He tells about his miraculous escape from the militant camps where there was special training for children. "The militants took children starting from the age of ten. They taught us to cut heads off. They literally taught us to do it. We were taken to a mosque. They'd put up a screen and show films which explained how to cut off a head".

Now these families are safe. This refugee camp is a temporary shelter. The governor of the province of Aleppo promises not only targeted assistance to families with many children, but also an opportunity to find a job. Western countries imposed sanctions against Syria. But they are primarily against ordinary civilians, against all Syrian people, against the elderly, women and children. But we will still survive in the fight against militants.

The officers of the Russian Center for Reconciliation deliver hot meals and water here. They say that this work doesn't stop for a single day. "This is a very important task, and it requires competent personnel, skill, courage and great responsibility. We not only distribute humanitarian aid in the form of bread, hot food, humanitarian packages, but also ensure safety. Seeing the conditions in which they live, how they feel, both morally and physically, I believe that the assistance our country provides is very significant".

People are waiting for the Russian military every day. "Your country treats us really good. Look, this assistance helps these children to survive!" Medical tents are set even before the food distribution. After all, almost everyone is in need of doctors’ assistance. People didn’t have such an opportunity for five years.
