Moscow will support Kyrgyzstan's integration into the Eurasian Economic Union, and the presence of the Russian military base in the country will contribute to the maintenance of security in Central Asia. These statements were made by the Presidents of Russia and Kyrgyzstan — Vladimir Putin and Almazbek Atambayev. Bishkek is the third and final destination of the trip for the Russian leader around the Central Asian region. This march marks the 25th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan. - There will be no revolutions in Kyrgyzstan anymore. Because we can’t, like in an old song. And Vladimir Vladimirovich is always teasing me, like in that song, saying that a revolution has a beginning, but has no end. We will not tolerate chaos in the country any more. All the attempts of power politics will be nipped in the bud.

- In the former Soviet Union, we have to appreciate stability. Our actions are based on the fact that any change of power should take place within the framework of the constitution and the current law.

Stability in terms of security of the country is provided by the Russian airbase Kant. Putin made it clear that it is, first of all, necessary for Kyrgyzstan itself: "If one day Kyrgyzstan says that it strengthened its armed forces to such extent that the base is not needed any more, we will leave the same day. We have no need to place a military contingent here. Its placement is associated only with one goal which is provision of security of Kyrgyzstan itself".

Russia helped Kyrgyzstan to join the Eurasian Economic Union, because the final benefits are obvious for both countries. Support received by the Belarusian economy is even more significant. Putin: "The loans granted to Belarus exceed 6 billion dollars. Our market is fully open for Belarusian goods. We supply Belarusian enterprises with duty-free oil, and Belarus exports processed oil charging duties, which go to the Belarusian budget. If you look at the figures, published by the IMF, you will see very impressive numbers of hidden and direct support provided for the Belarusian economy. But we have no regrets, because in the long term the Russian economy is receiving and will receive benefits from working together. Therefore, this money is not wasted for us. Those are calculated and well-thought out steps based on future results. But, there are always difficulties. I am sure we will find a way out of any, even seemingly difficult situations".

Before arriving in Kyrgyzstan, Putin visited Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. This morning, in Dushanbe, after breakfast, the Presidents of Russia and Tajikistan called the Turkmen leader together. "During this trip, for various reasons of a purely technical nature, I will not be able to visit you, but we will meet on your land soon".

In Bishkek, Putin summed up his grand trip, but also responded to the question about the Syrian settlement and particularly emphasized the success of the negotiations in Astana. Putin also responded to the aspiration of the West to impose new sanctions on Syria through the UN Security Council. "Now, it is totally inappropriate in relation to the Syrian leadership, because it does not help, would not help the negotiation process, but would only interrupt it and undermine confidence in the course of this negotiation process. Russia will not support any new sanctions against Syria".
